Thomas is an attorney licensed with the both State of California and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and he is admitted to practice before the Central District of California of the United States District Court. His practice is based in Burbank, California, where he focuses on helping clients effectively resolve their legal issues and protect their rights and is a certified family law specialist certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
His undergraduate studies in Humanities were completed at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah . He received his Juris Doctorate from University of Massachusetts School of Law – Dartmouth, graduating with honors and third in his class. Thomas pursued further studies at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, receiving a Masters of Law (LLM) in Intellectual Property Law from Cardozo. He also spent time studying at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law in Munich, Germany .
During law school, Thomas interned with the legal department of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) in New York City, focusing on the areas of animal cruelty law and protecting trademarks and copyrights. Prior to law school, Thomas lived two years in Guatemala as a volunteer missionary, where he immersed himself in the culture and language.
Since coming to California to practice law, Thomas has focused his practice areas to include Family Law and related legal issues.
Thomas is half Hispanic and speaks fluent Spanish.
